We have His Authority

WE HAVE HIS AUTHORITY
For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ (Romans 5:17).

The Lord Jesus occupies the most exalted position there is; He’s seated at the right hand of the Father, far above all principality, and power, might, and dominion, and every name that is named. But did you know that you’re in Him? You’re seated with Him in glory. The Word declares: “But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus” (Ephesians 2:4-6).

We’re called to exercise dominion and to live as masters and victors in life through Jesus Christ. We reign in Him and through Him over Satan, darkness, the world, and all creation. Revelation 5:10 tells us that Christ Jesus has made us kings and priests unto God, and we shall reign on the earth. God gave Jesus authority over all creation. At the mount of transfiguration, He spoke out of heaven saying, “...This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him” (Matthew 17:5). He commanded everything that exists living and non-living to be

subject to Jesus and, by extension, to you, because you’re in Him; you’re one with Him. You occupy His place of authority, with the power of attorney to act in His stead. You’re not ordinary. You operate from a higher realm where your words are backed by Deity. Every word Jesus uttered came to pass; He changed hopeless situations because He had all authority in heaven and in earth the same authority

He bequeathed to the Church you and me. He said in Matthew 28:18-19, “…All“…All power is given unto  me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore…”; thus, we’re on the go in His Name; the Name that opens every door. Realise that all authority has been vested on you to alter the circumstances of your life to sync with God’s perfect will. Therefore, speak words of power and break the influence of Satan over men’s lives, and cause the light of the Gospel to shine in their hearts.

CONFESSION
I walk in dominion over Satan, darkness, and the world. I’m seated together with Christ in glory, dominion, and power. My light shines ever so brightly, and I gloriously fulfil my destiny in Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

EMPOWERED TO PROSPER

EMPOWERED TO PROSPER

Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit
(Jeremiah 17:7-8).

Oftentimes, Christians use certain words, not knowing exactly what they mean. For example, to some people, “God bless you” is a nice church greeting; that’s all they think it is, but it’s something really powerful if you understand what it means. To be blessed means to be empowered to prosper; that you’re blessed means there’s an empowerment on you for prosperity, excellence, victory, fruitfulness and productivity in every area of your life. Now, because you’re blessed, it’s impossible for you to be defeated or disadvantaged; you’re protected and preserved by the Lord. This doesn’t mean you won’t face challenges, but irrespective of the challenges or oppositions, you’ll always win; where others fail, you win. This is your life as a Christian. You’ve been empowered to prosper in all things and deal wisely in the affairs of life. This took effect when you received the Holy Spirit.

Even if you were placed in a desert or barren land, you’ll still prosper; the desert will turn into a fruitful field, because you’re the blessed of the Lord. Live every day with this consciousness.

PRAYER
Dear Father, you’ve blessed me and empowered me to  prosper in all things and deal wisely in all of my affairs. I’m supernaturally protected and preserved, walking  in divine favour continually; everything connected to me prospers, in the Name of the Lord Jesus. Amen.

IT'S ABOUT WHO YOU ARE

IT'S ABOUT WHO YOU ARE
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you (John 15:16).

Psalm 1:3 reveals something phenomenal about you, and the life of extraordinary prosperity God has called you to. It says, "And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper." This should let you know that your prosperity isn’t dependent on the economics and economies of this world. The people of the world spend time looking for the moving or "booming" business or trade to invest in. That shouldn’t be your thinking, as the seed of Abraham. Think from a higher level.

Notice again the words of the Spirit in Psalm 1:3: "…and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper." He didn’t say you’ll prosper if the business is what’s trending or booming. The emphasis is "whatsoever"; in other words, there’s an empowerment in your life to cause you to prosper in all things.

In the Old Testament, Moses spoke to the children of Israel, and gave them God’s promises. Imagine what he said God would do for them: "And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee" (Deuteronomy 7:13). Think about that! Everything that had to do with them was blessed. As long as it was connected to them, it prospered.

Now, in the New Testament, we have a better covenant, established upon better promises: "But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises" (Hebrews 8:6). Therefore, anything you’re involved in should, of necessity, prosper; anything! The important factor isn’t what’s trending; the important factor is you. If you’re in it, then it’s blessed. Hallelujah!

Prayer
Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for the inherent ability in me to prosper in all that I do. As the seed of Abraham, everything that’s connected to me is blessed—my finances, business, job, family, etc. I walk in the consciousness that I’m blessed to be a blessing, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

WALK IN THE LIGHT OF HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS

WALK IN THE LIGHT OF HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS
To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus (Romans 3:26).

Jesus Christ has become your righteousness. That’s why in Christianity, we don’t walk in our righteousness; rather, we declare and boldly affirm that He’s become our righteousness. We stand in the presence of God with the righteousness of Jesus Christ; and we walk in the light of that righteousness. It’s like hidi
ng in His glory or being covered in His glory; you’re not seen.

It’s His light that’s seen; it’s His glory that’s seen. It’s His power that’s made manifest, as you walk in His righteousness. His own righteousness is what’s demonstrated in your life. That’s Christianity. It’s a walk in His righteousness.

2 Corinthians 5:21 tells us, "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." Now, you’ve become a demonstrator of His righteousness, because He manifests His righteousness through you! He’s the righteousness of the one who believes in Jesus.

It’s part of what we affirm when we take the Holy Communion. He said in 1 Corinthians 11:26, "For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come." His death, burial, and resurrection resulted in our justification. He took our place of sin, and gave us His righteousness. This is an amazing reality!

Prayer
Dear Father, I’m forever grateful for the blood of Jesus which was shed for me; his vicarious death reconciled me to you. His blood gave me life, and by His resurrection I stand justified before you forever! I thank you for my divine life of unending victories, excellence, and dominion, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Establish the word in your life

ESTABLISH HIS WORD IN YOUR

LIFE

In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem. And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes (Daniel 9:2-3).

In the scripture above, Daniel was praying about the deliverance of Israel. He had read in the book of Jeremiah that their deliverance would come after seventy years in exile, and as he studied, he realized that that time had come. Even though it was time for the children of Israel to be free from their many years of captivity, Daniel knew he still had to pray.

As Daniel prayed, God sent Angel Michael to bring down Persia. Persia had to fall before the children of Israel could be free from captivity. Daniel didn’t take chances; he said, "I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes" (Daniel 9:3).

He could have said, "Since God said His children would be free after seventy years of captivity, I don’t need to bother; I’ll wait on Him to do as He had said." No; Daniel was smarter than that! He didn’t only pray to God, he included fasting as well. He was determined to see to it that the prophetic utterance of God came to pass. How inspiring!

This should let you know that just because God says something will happen in your life doesn’t mean it’ll happen, if you don’t do something about it. You have to establish His Word in your life; you have to act on His Word. What prophecies or words of the Spirit have you received concerning your health, business, academics, finances, family, job, or future? Don’t just sit idly by and say, "If God says it’ll happen, it’ll happen." It doesn’t work that way. You have a role to play in bringing to fruition His Word concerning you.

Psalm 119:89 tells us that God’s Word is forever settled in heaven; however, it’s your responsibility to settle or establish the Word in your own life by acting on it, doing what it says. Act on the knowledge of God’s Word that has come to you, and your faith will prevail.

Prayer
Dear Father, I thank you for the wisdom to act on your Word always, and follow the guidance and promptings of the Spirit! Through your Word, I have increased wisdom, and spiritual understanding, knowing and walking in your perfect will at all times. I live a prosperous, healthy, and vibrant life in Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Take the Step of Faith

TAKE THE STEP OF FAITH
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him (Hebrews 11:6).

Every child of God has faith. The Bible says God has given to every man the measure of faith (Romans 12:3). However, a lot of time, some aren’t bold to act their faith. For example, during a Church meeting, there could be someone who has a word of prophecy, but instead of going ahead to proclaim it, he’s nervous and unable to summon enough boldness to do so.

The person could be thinking, "I’ve never prophesied before; how can I just stand up in this crowd and start prophesying?" With such thoughts going through his mind, his faith dissipates, and the opportunity passes by, without him fulfilling God’s plan for the hour. Whereas, the one who’s filled with the Spirit doesn’t even wait to get the full message before he stands up to give the Word. Once he hears a sentence from the Spirit, he steps out in faith to give it. And as he begins, the Spirit leads him on and on until he gives the full message.

To walk in the Spirit is to walk by faith; and faith is active, not passive. It’s the response of the human spirit to the Word of God. So, always be bold to act your faith. When God’s Word comes to you, act on it. Take a step of faith. Imagine what the Lord said to Abraham, "…Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee" (Genesis 12:1). The Bible tells us that Abraham, without knowing where he was going, obeyed. He took a step of faith.

Noah did the same thing; he took a step of faith on the basis of the words He received from God: "By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house…" (Hebrews 11:7). Take a step of faith today, by boldly acting on the Word.

Confession
I’m bold and very courageous! I take giant strides today on the basis of the Word! By my faith in the Word, I see the invisible and do the impossible, for the Word in me is a propelling force! I’m triumphant in my going out and in my coming in, by the ability of God’s Spirit at work in me! Hallelujah!

Serve Him with your life

SERVE HIM WITH YOUR LIFE
But the end and culmination of all things has now come near; keep sound minded and self-restrained and alert therefore for [the practice of] prayer (1 Peter 4:7 AMP).

Many people live as though this world is all there is. Life on earth is short. Whether you’re a politician, an entrepreneur, civil servant, whoever you are, and whatever activities you’re involved in, the end of all things is at hand. Therefore, live purposefully; serve God with your life. Live for His glory. Refuse to allow anything take your attention away from Him.

There’s so much wickedness and lawlessness, a superfluity of waywardness, in today’s world. As a result, the love of many has gone cold. Many aren’t as passionate and fervent for the Lord as they should: "And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold" (Matthew 24:12). Don’t let that happen to you. Remain excited about Jesus. Be excited about the Holy Spirit, about the Word of God, and about going to Church. Be excited to praise Him, irrespective of the challenges you might be facing, and the difficulties in today’s world. Be fervent in soul winning.

The Bible says he that endures to the end, the same shall be saved (Read Matthew 10:22). To "endure" means to go through certain difficulties and yet not give up. No wonder Paul said, "But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God" (Acts 20:24). He’s saying, "Come what may, I’m going to keep serving the Lord, fulfilling His ministry and calling for my life!"

Live for the Lord. The Bible says "And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again" (2 Corinthians 5:15). Let your love and commitment to Him be revealed in the way you talk, the things you do, and in your character. Love Him with all your heart, and express it lavishly by doing His Word.

CONFESSION
Precious Jesus, you’re the Lord of my life, and I live for your glory. You’ve made me a light to my world; therefore, I shine ever so brightly, leading others to righteousness. You’re my life and my joy; in you I live, and move, and have my being. You’re the glory of my life, and I love you with all my heart!
